What's happening at convent

Results

Dominican Convent girls always give their best when playing matches. Although victory is what all the teams aspire to attain, defeat is accepted gracefully and the Dominican Convent Flag is always raised high, no matter what. Well done to the ladies for all their hard work, participation and effort in their sporting and cultural activities.

The Netball ladies travelled to Kwekwe for a netball tournament against Goldridge, Gateway and MCC on the 18th of May 2019. These are the results of their matches:

U16 Convent 6 Goldridge 8

        Convent 15 Gateway 13

U15 Convent 11 Goldridge 12

        Convent 0 Gateway 6

On Friday the 18th of May, the soccer team travelled to Watershed for their match, and these are the results:

Convent A 4 Watershed 0

VOLLEYBALL

The volleyball team participated in a tournament, where they played St. Ignatius, Goromonzi and Girls High. These are the results of their matches:

Convent won against St. Ignatius

Convent lost to Goromonzi.

The team was then knocked out of the quarter finals by Girls High School.

BASKETBALL
BASKETBALL

On Saturday the 18th of May, the basketball team "MaHeavy" played in a tournament at Peterhouse. In the Pool games they lost 10-12 to Heritage. Against Watershed they won 14-3 and against Petra the team won 9-6 . They were 2nd in their pool and proceeded to the quarter finals where they lost to Arundel.

Additionally, on the 17th of May, the team played against Heritage and the results were as follows:

U14 drew 4-4

U15 Convent lost 4-0

U16 Convent lost 5-6

U20 Convent lost 21-9
