Convent Students Take on Key Leadership Roles in Harare Junior Council!
Two of our students have recently been entrusted with important leadership responsibilities within the City of Harare Junior Council, reflecting their commitment to service, leadership, and active citizenship.
Nadine Bishi was elected Junior Town Clerk for the 2026-2027 term. The role carries significant responsibility, requiring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate the administrative functions of the Junior Council. Nadine’s appointment is a testament to her dedication, professionalism, and leadership potential.
Joining her in a key executive position is Dione Duri, who was appointed Projects and Events Coordinator. In this role, Dione will help plan and oversee initiatives, programmes, and events that aim to make a positive impact within the community. His creativity, enthusiasm, and ability to work collaboratively will undoubtedly contribute to the success of the Junior Council’s activities throughout the year.
The appointments provide both students with an exciting opportunity to develop their leadership skills while representing young people in civic affairs. Through their involvement, they will gain valuable experience in teamwork, communication, project management, and community engagement.
As a school, we are proud of Nadine and Dione for their achievements and wish them every success as they embark on this important journey of service and leadership. We look forward to seeing the positive contributions they will make during their tenure with the City of Harare Junior Council.
